I don't have anyone. My family is estranged, I have a couple of friends, I don't have much in material possessions, I don't even drive my own car.

But you see, my life is no longer about those things. I feel free from those things. I have this computer, and I talk to people about the scriptures and God. That defines what I do on Earth.

And I can tell you that I am so content that I could scream, things are just too perfect, thanks to God. It's the relationship that I enjoy from the time I wake up, to the time I close my eyes again. I lack of nothing.

That is why I am so content, my life is filled with the things of God. The things of the world distract me from God. And I see that so clearly.

Well i believe in God, and I am a Christian, but I dont think that God exactly does anything for us. He has given us all free will, and with that free will is to have choices. We make the choices to do as we wish, god just sits back and is watching to see what happens. Now i do think there are little times that he may make a difference, but not by physically acting on it, but by people believing that he acted upon it. When the twin towers fell people prayed to god for help, and firefighters, cops, etc came to the rescue. He may have given them the strength to help those people, not physically, but by the people believing that he was helping them. So actually when you are blessed by something, you are just happy to have it. You are happy to have a family, life, food. But you gave you that food. Your working hard got you cash, in which you bought that food. Your good personality has given you a good family. etc. So in the end God is the great observer, watching to see who will enter his kingdom from loyalty, and love, not from thanking him for things that you have done yourself. Parents don't control everything that their kids do, they can just direct them in the right path, and hope for the best.

Amazing grace how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me. That pretty much sums it up here is one thing God did for me....

I had a big sin problem with drinking. No sailor dearly loved his grog like I did. I was on a merchant ship in Honolulu at the time of this incident.Years before I had been getting drunk and asking forgiveness and then doing it again. I was a miserable wretch. It came to the point where I promised God that I would never get drunk again but only have 2 beers a day. This lasted for a few years. Then I got drunk on the ship one night and broke that vow to God. I was at a real low point in my relationship with God. I felt so terrible I was beside myself. God spoke to me the next morning with 3 words,, He said" Quit drinking beer'" I was in my cabin and it was about 4 am and I looked all over the deck my cabin was on but there wasnt any body around. I knew It was God speaking to me, but my own selfishness kept telling me I was just hearing things. Later that morning I got on my bike and rode to a Calvary Chapel and asked if I could use the Lord's house for a bit to talk to God. . So there I was a miserable wreck, loving God but not wanting to give up my sin . I was weeping and pleading with God begging for forgiveness, and still wanting to hold on to my sin. Then there was a hand placed on my shoulder from behind, it was a Pastor of the Chapel. He said whats wrong? I said I am pretty sure God wants me to quit drinking all together, I am positive I heard God speak out loud to me early this morning,he said "quit drinking beer".. Well the Pastor said it sure wasnt Satan telling you that. So it had to be God. So I prayed out loud to God and I said Lord, I am not going to make you another promise and say Ill never get drunk again,.because I am never going to make another vow to you without keeping it. I said but I will promise you this, I will try with all my might to never have another drink of anything alchohalic as long as I live. And you know what happened? From that point on 6 years and 11 months ago I have never had the desire to drink again. God knew I was serious this time. He knew I was really sorry. So he took away my desire to drink and I have not had a drop since that day and I have not missed it a bit . It was nothing less than a miracle. Oh what an awesome God we serve....

My husband and I have been blessed with two wonderful daughters (we were unable to have any children of our own). After 17 years of marriage we were blessed to meet a wonderful woman with an unplanned pregnancy who chose adoption as an alternative to abortion. Six years later we were blessed again. Our daughters are now 14 and 8.

1. Since I gave my life to God through Jesus, I have been at peace in everything that happens in my life, and the things I could not do before, I find that I can now do through Christ.

2. Since I gave my life to God through Jesus, I find that the things that I used to do that were not pleasing to God I no longer do, and the things that God wanted me to do but I never did, I find that I now want to do them.

Prior to that time, I was wrapped up in what I could do for myself and it wasn't near as much as I thought it was. Now, because I give these things to God, they happen much easier.

T-Man, you give yourself too much credit. God gave you the talent, the personality, the skills to hold down a job, the wife you married, and the lovely kids that you have. You just put into action the things that He gave you.

without concern the two... purely like a loving, to blame father who's careful to self-discipline his infants. God's Love provides us each reason interior the international to desire to love, honor, and revere him. And God's holiness and potential provides us each reason interior the international to concern him and save ourselves from putting our hearts on evil issues. yet needless to say that is not extensively regular or the international may well be an quite diverse place. My special blessing from God is my wife. She has overcome so very much in her life and I admire her greatly for it. Her trust in God is that of a child and I never cease to learn form observing her. Her patience, her intelligence, her faith, her devotion to her career and to me are all blessings which I count every single day. Although I try hard, I always fall short in trying to repay her.

God gave me life when I didn't deserve it. He loves me simply because I am his creation. I can pray to Him whenever I want and I don't need permission to do so. I can walk, talk, see, hear because of God. He knew me before the world was created; he knew me way, way before I existed in form or thought on earth. He accepts me with all my warts; he knows me all the way to my soul....do I need to continue?
