I'm fifteen/female (I guess female is obvious because if I was a male, I probably wouldn't be asking this.). My breasts are very heavy (I'm between a full C and a small D) and they sag badly. I've had big breasts for several years because they developed very quickly. I started getting breasts that needed a real bra at least at the age of 10/11 I think and my breasts have been the same size since I was 13/14 I'm pretty sure. I can't excercise without them hurting and they cause my posture to slump. I don't want to get them reduced because I'm not sure my frame would look good with smaller breasts but what really puts me off is the dangers of breast reduction. Am I too young to get a breast lift because I think if I got one, they'd look better and they'd probably feel better? Could insurance pay this? Any iformation welcome. Thanks.

Padded straps don't help. Besides, I've started modeling but I can't wear some of the clothes because of how my breasts hang. Also I wouldn't do this to fall into mainstream beauty. I would do it whether I wanted to model or not.

My breasts have been the same size for at least two years and I'm pretty much fully developed everywhere else. I'm 5' 8''/5' 9'' and I've been the same height for at least a year and a half I know.

As I said, I would rather not get them reduced because they wouldn't look good on my frame and I don't like the idea of the surgery anyway. I wouldn't go to India for surgery even if it meant paying only 30%. At the end with travel fees and such, it'd probably come up just as much as the surgery in the USA would have cost if not more. Could someone just post some info on breast lift? I think that would be the best thing for me and I would get relief from it because my breasts have a lot of loose skin. If the skin were taken away, they'd stand higher, they wouldn't sag and they would hurt as much.

What are your concerns about breast reduction surgery? If you have back pain a breast reduction would greatly relieve you of that pain.

Insurance won't pay for a breast lift UNLESS you get it with a breast reduction. My insurance paid 100% for my breast reduction with lift back in Feb 2006. Also a breast lift will NOT alleviate your pain and discomfort.

You are only 15, so unless your breasts are bothering you so much you cannot do daily activities they may not want to operate on you at this time. Your best advice would be from a doctor.

Check out this site, it has a great FAQ section as well as a support and picture board.

Also here is a good site, especially if one of your concerns are breastfeeding after reduction:

Edit: Saw your edit. Just because you haven't gone up in size in the past two years does NOT mean you are done developing. You can grow into your 20's.

Like was said before, a breast lift WILL NOT alleviate your back pain! It will only make them not be so saggy. AND they will eventually sag again since you didn't lose any of the tissue or fat in your breasts. They will only end up being perky till they droop again, there will be no pain relief with just a breast lift. Insurance will not pay for a breast lift.

Large breasts can be a major pain (literally). Instead of a breat lift or something, you might consider a breast reduction when you're a little older. Now, I would never normally suggest surgery to people, but this is a life improving thing. We want you to be able to function happily in life. A breast lift will not make them lighter. But if they cause you pain, I think insurance will pay for a reduction, at least in part. No surgery is safe, so don't fool yourself there. The doctors know what they are doing, you find someone you trust and that others (who have used him/her) trust and were happy with.

Now is not the time. Your body is still changing. Corrective surgery now would likely lead to more surgery later.

While there is no harm is seeking professional advice, be a little suspicious of anybody advocating action now, unless they show evidence that your spine needs the relief immediately to avoid permanent damage. Get a 2nd opinion if a doc advocates surgery now.

I think it is likely a doctor will advise you to wait a few years, but really, at the end of the day, only a doctor can speak to these issues you raise.

Uh - excuse me young lady, but a breast lift is a surgical procedure. All of your options, with the exception of doing nothing, require some form of plastic surgery.

go see a plastic surgeon and they will advise you on what you should do. the older you get the more they will sag/. had a friend that had reduction but she waited till she was 50 and also became a diabetic and they didn't want to do the surgery. one thing is that shes diabetic and there is only so much that they can remove when you get so big. if its medically necessary insurance will pay for surgery

Breast lift surgery is very safe nowadays. My cousin got her breast reduction, tummy tuck and facelift surgery in India by the company called Tour2india4health Consultants .The Price for the surgery she paid in India was very less. She paid 30% of the cost she was quoted in America.

Tour2india4health Consultants is very famous in India. They arrange cosmetic and plastic surgery for foreigners in India. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories. They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery abroad for low price, as the breast reduction, tummy tuck, facelift and other cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

Hope this helps.

full c and small D is really not that big. I doubt insurance would cover a breast lift on a 15 year old. It probably wouldn't even cover augmentation at your age and size. I say suck it up and buy a good bra.
