My sister always tells lies to the other members of my family like i hit my kid or that I would kill her kid if she did'nt sleep over. Stupid stuff like that & everyone believes her. She does'nt work & just sits around the house all day thinking of things to hurt me & other lies to tell. What should I do? I love her kids ( my nieces ) i want to see them but if I say something to her about her lies she wont let me see my nieces. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

You probably wont like my advice but as long as she can hold her girls over you she will have control. You need to let them go and distance yourself from her and those who believe her. You have a child of your own to take care of and who knows what she might do. If she is saying youre hitting your child and your family believes it how do you know someone wont try turning you in to child protection services? You better get away from her and take care of your own family. She is trouble.

Ur sister sounds like a whack job...but maybe try to talk to the other members of ur family and tell THEM ur concern and ask them to help u help her. Then talk to her nicely and ask her why she does that. If she is really a whack job she'll probaly take offense to u asking her and get mad if she finds out about u saying stuff to the others but ur really between a rock and a hard place so i would just try to do it. thats one option or if u are afraid about not seeing ur nieces and u dont want to try for that reason then she is just going to keep doing it and then u just will have to deal with it. just go along with it.

Either you put up with it, which doesn't seem to be working, or you stand up to her, you can also try to tell your family she is lying, but that goes back to the second option. You can try writing a letter, or sitting her down and talking openly and honestly. An important thing is to only make "I" statements. Like I feel, I think, I believe. If you say you statements, that leaves a lot of room for arguments. But it's hard to argue that you don't feel, think or believe in a certain way.
I prefer letters, words can be changed that way, if you are talking you can't take back something you said.

he could perhaps be speaking the certainty AS HE SEES IT. individuals of many pentecostal communities have faith that they communicate in tongues. To an interloper it sounds like an oddly melodious gibberish. The believers think of it incredibly is the two an unknown language or the "language of the angels". If I have been you i could refuse to be inspired till he spoke a recognisable language you comprehend he did not communicate earlier.

Child protective services probably has already been to *her* house since she's acting like just like them according to the info in question. Maybe she should work there...she's seems pretty manipulative.

"that's manipulative"
"my parenting is none of your business"
"why are you always so negative?"
"do I have a *history* of killing children or do you have a history of making false accusations ----which is it sis?

Sue her in a court of law for slander or character defamation. Get witnesses, ect.

Secondly, legally disown her as your sister. This is serious enough to warrant that, and a betrayal beyond belief.

I would challenge her on those specific lies in front of the family, it will cause them to doubt her honesty.

Stop letting her rule your life, and try to figure out why the heck it is that everyone believes these "Far-out" tales of hers.

I don't understand why you are worried about this.

ignore her... she's looking for reactions from you and you're giving her just what she wants.

she sounds like a whack job... you can't change others...
