Would stock of an item on amazon.com be manufactured more recently then the stock of lets say....best buy?

So what im asking is....im buying an xbox 360 and i want to know if i order one on amazon.com rather then going to best buy and getting one, am i most likely going to get a more recently or later manufactured system?

the factors that go into determining the answer to that.

how much do they stock of an item?
how fast do they sell the inventory?

It has to be measured on that particular item because each store has a different turnover based on the demographics around the store.

If it is high on Amazons hot list, then that is a good indication of fresh inventory, but not absolute.
