I did a search thinking this quote should be attributed to one of the astronauts, but I couldn't find one or a script for "Footsteps on the Moon" or the ABC documentary, "Footprints on the Moon." The only major source for a quote like this is on thinkexist.com which reports it as:

“Don't tell me the sky is the limit, there are footprints on the moon!” (unknown)

"My Life and Times" (1991) -- movie

[opening narration]
Ben Miller: I can't say that I've seen everything but I've seen a lot. I've seen footsteps on the moon and seen myself stumble. I've seen fear and did my darndest not to be afraid. I've survived the nineties and braved the millennium. I've loved and lost and learned to love again. And I've learned that life is an adventure. You have to hold on and let it carry you away. I've let in carry me to me to the year 2035 and I'm here to tell the tale. I'm Ben Miller and this is my life and times.

Footsteps on the Moon (1967)
Neil Armstrong, Colonel Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin, and Colonel Michael Collins are about to embark on one of the most important space missions ever. In July, 1969 these men along with experts from NASA proved in just a few weeks that the moon was not inaccessible. This film follows the steps that led up to that fateful day when our heroes blasted off into space to go where no other American had ever dreamed of going before.
