Jesus spent well over two years training his hand selected apostles to preach the Gospel to all mankind. And his Original Kingdom Gospel is about seeking a hidden kingdom...Matt. 6:33 and 13:44.

Now, Paul was certainly not one of those twelve. Does Paul's declaration that he is an apostle make him so? And did that delcaraton add any validity to the sacrifice gospel he preached? Source: http://gospelenigma.com

Paul making a self declaration would not mean much, but the authority of the Apostles accepted him, there's your proof.

Have you considered his testimony in the book of Acts and his affirmation by the other apostles? Peter himself declared Paul's writings to be scripture. So if you accept Peter, you have to accept Paul.

Paul was converted from Judaism by a sovereign act of Jesus.
After he was instructed in the faith, he also went to Jerusalem.
There he checked with (Pope) Peter & the other apostles.
They agreed with his teaching & sent him to the Gentiles.
That makes him an Apostle!

Does that make me an apostle? No. If you need to ask, the answer is always, "no" or "no way." (lol)
Paul knew, and so declared what was given to him to declare.

It was St. Paul's actions and beliefs that made him an apostle, he did many great things and if you want to be one do good things as well, you can be an apostle if you act and follow the lord.

Either you believe Luke's account of how Saul met Jesus on the road to Damascus, or you don't.
If you do, then why can't you accept him as an apostle? Luke did.
If you don't, then why do you believe anything else Luke wrote?

Paul invented Christianity. The others were kept in just to legitimize it. But it's Paul's baby.

Paul like the rest of the apostles saw the resurrected Christ. He was as qualified as any and perhaps more so. Read the Bible instead of websites and you would know this.

You can never be an apostle based on the criteria.

Apostles have seen the physically risen Saviour, and many signs and wonders preceeds them.

Mark 16

17And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

18They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

In the first chapter of epistle to the Galatians, Paul testify of his apotleship and there is no other gospel.

6I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:

7Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.

8But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

9As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

10For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.

11But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.

12For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.

13For ye have heard of my conversation in time past in the Jews' religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the church of God, and wasted it:

14And profited in the Jews' religion above many my equals in mine own nation, being more exceedingly zealous of the traditions of my fathers.

15But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by his grace,

16To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood:

17Neither went I up to Jerusalem to them which were apostles before me; but I went into Arabia, and returned again unto Damascus.

18Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to see Peter, and abode with him fifteen days.

19But other of the apostles saw I none, save James the Lord's brother.

20Now the things which I write unto you, behold, before God, I lie not.

21Afterwards I came into the regions of Syria and Cilicia;

22And was unknown by face unto the churches of Judaea which were in Christ:

23But they had heard only, That he which persecuted us in times past now preacheth the faith which once he destroyed.

24And they glorified God in me.
