Can bad chocolate milk make you sick?

Chocolate milk smells funny and tastes funny but it is only the day of the best before date.

Any "bad" milk can make you sick, the chocolate has very little to do with it except it may mask the taste of milk that has spoiled. As said above the date doesn't mean anything, if improperly refridgerated, a damaged container or otherwise contaminated it may spoil sooner. If it smells funny toss it, you might lose some money but it's not worth your health.

No not if it is only one day after the best before date. The best before date is a guide line, it says that it is best before this date. It does not say you can not use it after this date, and indeed there is a few days grace, but it is not advisable to put it to the test.

The expiration dates aren't ALWAYS 100% acurate...Fact is to, it could just be that chocolate milk...if it smells nasty or smells like you wouldn't put it past your nose then be safe and don't drink it :)
