What is the longest amount of time it has taken you to get over an unrequited crush? This is for men and women.

I have been attracted to a co-worker for months. She does not feel the same, but I can't seem to let it go. Is it possible that there are some things you just can't accept? How do I deal with this?

ummm, it often takes a while for me to get over a crush....but if I find out the other person doesn't feel the same way, it's usually a lot easier. To deal with it, I would try to go out more and meet new people. You'll make more friends and eventually maybe even someone who likes you back.

As to this co-worker, although it may seem impossible right now, I think in time you will get over her. I know, this probably isn't what you wanted to hear. But time heals all wounds - as long as you don't keep picking the wound open!

Well your not accepting it because you were rejected. Most men like what they can't have. So your nerves are being worked and your getting a rush. You'll get over her when you find someone new that interests you. But learn to deal with rejection. It's normal.

It is very hard, but it can be done. Over time, your feelings will diminish. Having a crush on someone in the workplace does make things that much harder, but don't give up. You will find someone else to grab your attention.

i liked a guy soooooo much for a little over a year, 13 months, he was too old for me...it took me 4 months to fully get over him.....i still get a little bit of butterflies when i see him, but i like a guy a year older than me that is awesome and i like him more than i have ever liked anyone =D
but i really am over the other guy, so much so that i'm trying to set him up with a very nice girl, they both deserve someone sweet!!!

Can you consider leaving the job? It may be the best alternative if you're having trouble getting past your feelings for her.
