for a period of time (about 2 months) i thought i was on the verge of being depressed. i really couldnt put my finger on the reason but i would cry uncontrolably for an hour or two. i would rarely smile. but now without any mediction or anything i feel better i am happier. is it possible that this could happen again i am only 15. i am a little scared. is there anything wrong with me?

It seems like normal teenage moodswings to me. Perfectly normal, just not very enjoyable, lol. If you ever just want to talk about your problems with someone in private, however, the people here care about what you have to say...

Its most likely hormonal, which doesn't actually make it better it just gives you a reason why you feel that way. You could also have a low grade depression which is cyclic. It may come and go or just come on when your hormones get to a level. I would look at your cycle carefully and if it gets bad, tell you doctor. You might also try Omega 3 fatty acids as a supplement. It helps to regulate blood flow throughout the body and people have had good results for low level depression. Follow the instructions on the bottle.

it is probably just your hrmones since ur only 15. its also possible ur mind hasnt caught up with ur emotions yet, in other words... u just havent quite figured out why ur sad but have a reason. dont try to figure it out though that will make it worse. if this is the first time this has happened to u then dont worry about it. it is just part of growing pains, ok

Sounds pretty normal to me. Hormones can really do a number on you at your age, causing mood swings and all kinds of other confusing emotions. As long as the feelings aren't really extreme, like making you want to hurt yourself, or hallucinate or to become manic (overly excited and impulsive, causing you do really stupid or dangerous things), you'll be fine.

But if you're still concerned, don't be afraid to talk to your parents and ask them to take you to the doctor.

Take Care.

No it is quite normal. Hormones in we women change and go up and down from now until you are in your 60's so prepare for the roller coaster ride of womanhood. You may have down times and if they last longer than a week tell your parents or guardian and see a Dr. in case a mild medication is needed. Good luck young woman

Probably not. It is common at your age to feel that. You are riding the hormonal rollercoaster of adolescents. Hange on and fasten your seatbelt.

Alot of people go through this....I went through it a few years ago...it's part of growing up unfortunately....and as your body changes your feelings change as well....try doing fun things to cheer you up when you feel this way...don't dwell on it. Just focus! :)
