How do i get my baby parakeet to eat treats?

I have a baby parakeet that is 6 months old. I got her when she was 3 months old. I have put celery leaves, grapes. scrambled egg, apple slice. She will not go near them. How do I get her to try them. I'm sure she would like them.

maybe you should put like the most littlest slices in her food so the baby bird doesnt notice that she's eating the food. Then when she's older she might take the risk to try the snacks you give her. Yes the bird would like them bc i got a sheet when i got my parakeets and it says they really like: bite-sized fruits and veggies like; apples, grapes, sweet potatoes, broccoli, spinach, mustard greens and shredded carrots. Also, theres this new food for parakets. It's called Gourmet. Its nutritionally fortified parakeet food. It has essentail nutrients all birds need in a tasty mixture of high-quality, fiber rich fruits, nuts, veggies, and specialty seeds and grains. The food is a feast of colorfull shapes, sizes and textures. Which the birds really like. This bird food is made by Animal Planet. I found it in Target by the pet section. [like where they sell toys, food for birds, fish, hamsters etc.] Its a tall maybe.. 8 in. glass its in. But the thing is, DONT automatically change the food. What i do, is i put a little bit of this snack mix in with their food. Because the parakeets might not eat because they dont reconize the food. My parakeets love this stuff and hopfully your growing parakeet will too :)

shop it in one extra area. different birds would desire to be a fundamental distraction. I even have not observed any exchange in instructing facility between adult adult males and females and that i've got had countless of each and every gender.
