If you're 16, your dad can sell your car or have your license revoked. He's responsible for you until you're 18. Also, you said you were issued a ticket, then you said there's no ticket. Which is it? Make up your mind.

Several problems. First who owns the car? If you do, then he can't sell it, unless you sign the title. Second, has anyone checked with the insurance company, to see if the rates will go up? Third, until you get a ticket, or a summons into court, there is no action taken on the incident. Although you say you were issued a ticket, and later that there is no ticket.

OKAY, I DON'T THINK THAT YOU OWN THE VEHICLE BECAUSE YOU ARE STILL A MINOR AND IF SOMEONE SOLD YOU THE CAR THEN THAT PERSON IS STUPID.

AS LONG AS YOU ARE A MINOR YOU CANNOT BY LAW BY A VEHICLE AND THE PERSON THAT SOLD IT TO YOU, IF YOU WANTED TO YOU COULD ASK FOR ALL OF THE ORIGINAL PRICE BACK AND THEY WOULD HAVE TO GIVE IT BACK TO YOU BY LAW.

AS FOR YOUR DAD, YES AS LONG AS HE IS THE OWNER HE CAN SELL IT.

AS FOR THE TICKET, YOUR RATES MAY OR MAY NOT INCREASE BUT IT DEPENDS ON THE JUDGE AND IF HE OFFERS YOU DEFENSIVE DRIVING OR NOT.

AS FOR THE INSURANCE COMPANY, THEY MAY OR MAY NOT ACCEPT THE DEFENSIVE DRIVING, IT WILL BE UP TO THEM.
