Do my neighbors need to ask me first if they want to take family pictures in our back yard? I was watching tv and I noticed my neighbors in my backyard. They never asked me if it was ok.

They could have asked would have been more polity,On the other hand they might have tough you would allow it anyway.And in there consideration they did not want to disturb your rest or t.v. watching.Just look the other way let it go and get along with your neighbors.An good neighbor is better than an fare-away friend.

Are you friendly with them or do you both butt heads?
If you are friendly with them, I would let it slide.
If you butt heads, they are trespassing, and I'd really consider a fence "good fences make good neighbors".
