I don't see the connection between the two.

I don't either. GWB isn't a Christian.

GWB is a globalist, and a member of secret societies like Bohemian Grove and Skull and Bones. He told everyone "I'm a Christian too!" to garner votes, then he goes and "prays" in a mosque and a shinto temple.

But there's some really gullible Christians out there that will believe anyone that says, "Hey, I'm a Christian too!". GWB hasn't talked about Jesus much since he won his two elections.

Ignorance. The ONLY thing that makes a person a Christian is that they have done what the Bible says that a person is to do to become a Christian. Anything else is a lie.
This thing you ask about is the same old swill that has been used by others, in a vast variety of ideas to get people to do as it is desired of them.
There is no connection between the 2, except for what some misguided people choose to believe.

Anybody who says that is talking nonsense.

George W. Bush is, I'm prepared to believe, a Christian. However, there are many, many different ways of being a Christian than just his way, and in my opinion his way of being one is just about the worst and most stupid way.

Ask any Greek or Russian Orthodox believer this question and see how baffled they are. Ask a Catholic, for goodness' sake - at least, an intelligent Catholic.

Bush's Christianity is a notably dimwitted, vengeful, theologically ignorant brand of faith. I am not myself a believer but I do think that it's perfectly possible to be a decent and honest Christian and hate Bush's guts; in fact, from what I know of the Bible, Jesus would have had very little time for Bush.

I have not had that said to me! I do not support George Bush and I am a Christian!

Because only devout Christians and religious people can support the mass killing Bush has been doing in Iraq and Afghanistan.

I'm sure there are still some idiots who say that. I remember seeing some Sunday church show before the '04 election where they put up a shot of "W" and actually asked people to pray for him to win.

About the only thing Mr. Bush is good at is pandering to religious nutjobs. Not that he ever actually does anything for them; but he talks the talk, and they eat it up.

Beats me. I'm a Christian, and I definitely didn't vote for the guy. Some of his actions, in fact, are in direct violation of my own religious beliefs. It seems that the right-wing Fundamentalist faction buddied up with certain ultra-conservative elements of the Republican party to sell Bush as God's Own Candidate during the elections. Unfortunately, some people actually fell for it.

Wtf...That's simply outrageous! See how far-flung those nutjobs have taken their so-called Christianity now??? Suddenly Bush has become their own "messiah"!!

We need some drastic measures from such sheer idiocy, lemmetellya...

Peace be with you.
