If sweat + bacteria = BO, and if armpits supply an abundance of both....?

... and if men have more armpit hair and sweat and armpit surface area in general, then why don't men shave their underarms? Women do so because it's clean and looks much better than hairy pits, but why don't men do the same thing? Bushy pits are ugly, and the smell is too.

Everyone, women men, need to shave their pits. They need not shave their beards or chests or legs, because these areas don't generate BO. However, the pits do, and so do the nether parts.

Guys, ya gotsta start shaving, really. It doesn't make you gay, it makes you clean.

Both genders release pheromones from the underarms, so to say that men shouldn't shave on account of this, is it not a fair statement to say that women shouldn't shave either.

Btw, manly doesn't mean stinky. There's more to being a man than how hairy his pits are, or how much he smells. Actually, I'd rather avoid stank, lol.

It's not a matter of Hair vs. No Hair. The amount of time and focus of cleanliness. Women are more likely to use an item like one of those lathery squishy scrubby things. Most guys will just grab the soap and go to town.

Women do more to strip the bacteria from their under arm.

If men just used a scrubby thing they'd smell better. Me?
I don't have a problem, I have a washcloth.

Because society says that women have to be perfectly trimmed, clean, and good smelling where as it's kind of cool for a guy to be all beefy and working hard in the sun and having a manly odor. Plus, that smell releases natural pheromones that actually help the cause.

I had a boyfriend who shaved his armpits, just not everyday. Since the hair holds the odor, it helped him to smell cleaner. Guess it's a preferential kind of thing.

I shave in the summer and trim in the winter. It works for me. Very little odor, except after a lot of strenuous work or excersize. But thats what showers are for.

Hmmm, interesting concept. There are theories that it is there for a reason, you know, God gave us the hair there so what right do we have to get rid of it?
