This is one nation under God, not Joseph Smith. If we ever had a Mormon president we would deserve the curse that comes along with that. BTW, Jospeh Smith tried and couldn't get the job, what makes any other Mormon think they can?

Same as a Catholic or a member of Islam or Baptist or Methodist or Jehovah's Witness or any faith...

No one made this big a deal out of the ONE AND ONLY Catholic President we ever had...do you know who that was? Probably not!

Were you also aware that the Secretary of Agriculture under President Dwight D Eisenhower was Mormon and was later the President of the Church? I didn't think so. (see the link below for that info)

As a non-American, I can tell you that the only thing you could do to prevent the USA's international reputation from ceasing to deteriorate (because it gets worse all the time) is elect somebody who doesn't believe in God at all. But let's face it, that isn't going to happen.

Why would you even ask this question? Are you afraid of multiple First Ladies? The true Mormons outlawed that practice over one hundred years ago.Mitt only has one wife and I don't think IF elected he would force polygamy on the general public.

We'd sure be having some odd laws being inacted wouldn't we?
I think Arabia would get made if an American President had more wives than the average Shiek.

I don't think it will do anything more or less for us. Romeny to me seems very much about Business and not about his faith. If you notice the LDS church is usually politcally neutral.

I dont know because we wouldn't have to worry about that. Mitt isn't getting into office because I dont think that many people are dumb enough to vote a Mormon into office.
