My cat drinks alot of water. I mean she'll be at the water container for about 3 minutes. While our other cat comes and drinks only a little. My cat is also pooping a lot and eating alot. Today she puked 3 times while she ran crying like she was in pain. She has a tendency to puke in her food dish.

I think you should take her to the vet right away!

Yes, this would be something I'd make an appointment for especially as there's pain involved. Something isn't right.

Hanging over the water bowl is a sign of one of several things, and a blood panel will help narrow it down. Also, puking once is normal in some cats, but not three times, so I'd suspect a problem and get her in within the next two days to be looked at.

She needs to go to a vet and have a blood full panal done. It maybe diabetes, but only a vet can tell for sure. I'm no expert, but I did have a cat with the same symptoms who was diabetic. She lived a good 10 years or so after she went on insulin.

Good luck and ill be sending a prayer for your little one.

Drinking a lot of water could be a sign of the start of chronic kidney failure. If recognized early there is a chance to treat the disease. Check if her kidneys are swollen. How old is your cat food? Is it wet food? In January most wet cat food was poisened. Check the date on the cans

Hon, some cats DO throw up a lot---I own some of them! She may just have a tendency to eat too fast.
But if your cat is older (over 12) then I'd be a bit concerned about her drinking large amounts of water, as this can be an early sign of kidney failure.
She needs to see a vet for possible bloodwork, and your vet can feel her tummy to see if there's anything amiss there too.
Good luck Hon.

My baby had similar issues. I brought him to the vet and he had hyperthyroid. It can be dangerous if not treated, such as glacoma, cardiovascular problems. He drank so much water and he was sleeping in the bathtub so we could keep the water running

Your kitty might be diabetic too

Take her to the vet right away, she sounds very sick! If the vet is not open call the emergency vet.
