sounds like you have a sciatic nerve flare up. These are a nightmare and terrible to experience. I find that deep tissue massage therapy can relieve the nerve pain quickly. I also would recommend you see a chiropractor as they can treat this problem and help you get over the pain very quickly. I've enclosed a link where you can find a qualified chiropractor in your area.

Sounds like sciatica, or irritation to the sciatic nerve. This is a big nerve (literally the size of your pinky) that supplies functions to your legs. When this nerve is irritated it can cause pain, numbness, poor circulation, muscle weakness, restless leg, and charlie horses to name a few. This is a pinched nerve either in your lower back or pelvis. The reason the drugs don't work is they can't unpinch a nerve. See a chiropractor. That is the only thing we do, and we're really good at it. In the meantime, sleep on your back with a pillow under your knees, or on your side with a pillow between your knees to take the pressure off of your lower back. Sleeping on your stomach will make things worse. Ice your lower back, this will ease some of the discomfort. When you have pain down your leg it means the sciatic nerve is inflammed. Inflammation is heat. Ice brings down the inflammation and helps speed the healing process. Do not use heat, it will make things worse. Hope this helps, and see your chiropractor as soon as possible. You don't want this to get any worse. It could lead to a herniation which will take even longer to heal.

Nerve pain. It hit me right about 20 weeks, and only went away about 3 weeks ago. It was awful, but there's not much you can do about it. I thought I was going to end up in a wheelchair, it was so bad. My husband had to catch me from falling a couple of times. Giving birth will certainly resolve it, if it doesn't go away on its own at some point during the pregnancy. I think my baby shifted or dropped a bit, relieving the pressure off of the nerve.

Acupuncture, which involves inserting thin needles into various points on your body, may reduce peripheral neuropathy symptoms.
