Does anyone know of any websites which have info about Amish customs and ways and how the religion differs from Christianity?

The Amish are Christians, but believe in a slightly different way. They take the Bible literally, and do not use electricity as the Bible says not to conform to the world, and electric communications connect with the outer world. But, yes, they do experience Jesus as a personal Savior as American Christians do. Everything they do is based upon the Bible. From their beard, to their hats, it all has to do with God and the Bible.

ummmm - Amish are CHRISTIAN.
and the only websites are created by people who are not Amish. if you really want to lean about them, it would be better for you to go to the library and check out a couple of books.
i live in an area with lots of Amish and have Amish friends.
once again - Amish are CHRISTIAN. whereever in the world did you get the idea they were not?

BTW, the Amish are Christians, so their religion can't "differ from Christianity". They do differ from other Christian denominations and sects, but they are staunchly Christian.

The Amish belong to a splintered group from the Mennonites, which followed the ways of the Anabaptists who believed in pacifism and nonviolence.
Simply look up [Google] either one of those names and it should direct you to more information about them.

I don't know about websites, but I do know that the amish are protestant christians. They are just very conserative in how they interpet bibles rules of conduct.
