Right now? Terrorists take their beliefs into their own hands and go out and kill people and destroy property. Troll Patrol on the other hand, is NOT killing people, (unless someone becomes so despondent over losing their Yahoo account that they commit suicide). They ARE however destroying property. First, they are destroying the intellectual property of those making posts that attack the Torlls. They are ALSO destroying the intellecutal property of Yahoo!Answers by attempting to Hijack the Reporting system that Yahoo established. They are also causing financial harm to Yahoo because their methods are causing people to leave Yahoo, thereby costing Yahoo advertising revenue.

Terrorism is ALSO the intentional causing of fear in the populace as a whole and Troll Patrol IS doing that to some extent. No, not fear for their lives or physical safety. But, there is fear that an innocent post against what is SEEN as a Troll will result in a violation report being sent against the user who is making making the anti-troll post.

So while there is no Physical violence being administered by TP there IS cyber violence against the user of Y!A AND against Yahoo itself. and THAT is cyber terrorism.

Terrorists take credit for their atrocities.

The Patrol of Trolls hide behind the Anominity of of flagging system that refuses to even tell people WHY they got deleted.
Perhaps that's because Yahoo's legal dept told them that if victims knew why, they could figure out WHO.

One's real life, the other's online. That is about all.

They DO kill people, in a virtual sense. When you don't have a Yahoo account, you are technically dead to other Yahoo members. Just because you're not REALLY dead, you're still dead on here.

Terrorists sometime have a point to make -- even if the means they use are violent and senseless.

Trolls have no point to make -- they are just senseless.
