I am a Christian also but I say it is perfectly normal to masturbate.
There is NOTHING in the Bible that says ANYTHING about a young man masturbating. It is often different churches that create their own doctrines that rule on masturbation or rate levels of sin when we are ALL sinners and cannot judge whose less or more sinful. Only God can do that - and besides we were saved through the unearned grace of Jesus Christ
Women and men are set up a little differently. A man is constantly producing semen - sperm and ejaculate all the time. Eventually, this needs to come out. If you are not married/in a monogamous sexual relationship and do not masturbate, you are going to have wet dreams or are going to ejaculate perhaps at a time which is not too convenient for you.
Just refrain from sex with a partner - you are too young right now either way and if you are a Christian you are intending to wait until marriage at any rate
The reason there is guilt has nothing to do with God - it is our culture's opinions and sometimes the views about our bodies we are taught from our parents or even other kids teasing us about our less than supermodel appearances can affect our feelings about our sexuality
So, by all means masturbate. look at it as a gift

Some members may tell you different BUT it is a scientific fact that if you do not regularly masturbate your testicles will become less efficient at producing sperm. If your reproductive system goes underused through neglect your sperm count drops slightly. It is simply a case of supply and demand with sperm and if you are married one day and hope to start a family, you do not want a reproductive system that has become inept at doing what it should. An under used penis attached to a person who has become very disconnected from their sexuality is hardly going to be conducive a happy marriage and starting a family is it? I know that god favours procreation so look after the equiptment he's provided you and don't become neurotic about what is entirely natural, there are lots of passages in the bible about the sinful use of prostitues and promiscuity but keeping your system in function is hardly a sin!

It's been a long a time since I read a bible, but I do not recall anywhere in there that says thou shall not masturbate.
Christian or not I feel there is nothing wrong in having one off the wrist especially at your age.
Let's face it if you don't you will only wake up with wet pyjamas after having wet dreams.
As to going to an all boys school unless it is a boarding school, I see no reason why you can't find a girlfriend, but even if you do don't expect her to give you a Jodrell Bank, and think that just because she was doing it makes it less against your religion.
Go for it.

You know I think this is one of the most evil things about any christian religion. We know that masturbation is a normal sexual activity but the christians or at least some of them and maybe other religions for all I know have tried to make people feel guilty about doing it. I suppose this is done to help the priest keep their power over their followers. I think guilt in the right circumstances is a good thing but to try and make people feel guilty just to exploit them is just plain evil

It really doesn't matter what your religion is. Masturbation is a part of going through puberty, growing up, and especially if you're in a all male school, the lack of females might make you get an erection easier.

If you wasn't meant to do it then you would not have been given the ability to do so. You wasn't given wings. That's why you can't fly. A body is only given the things that serve a purpose. Nature just doesn't create things it has no use for.
Masturbation is completely natural and nothing to be ashamed of. We only feel shame when we think we shouldn't be doing it, or when others make us believe we shouldn't.

The bible thumpers might try to convince that this is a sinful practice. Tell them to go take a running jump. As Woody Allan said, masturbation is having sex with somebody you really love.

When you masturbate, what do you think about? Possibly to get yourself turned on you think of yourself having sex with somone or maybe naked women. God said that we should not have immoral thoughts
If you feel so guilty and have to question it - maybe it is wrong. Ask god to help you control these feelings. If you do it too much , it may affect future marriage

Sweetie, isn't there a trusted adult you can ask about this? I imagine they would be much more helpful than we can.
(I think single-sex schools are kind of sketchy in this respect. The atmosphere often leads to boys "making do" with each other.)
