If turning the dial right (to 36), then left (to 18) and right (to 04) doesn't work, if you kept the receipt, return the lock and get a new one - maybe one with a key

Start at 0, and turn the dial right three times to 36. From 36, turn the dial left two times to 18. From 18, turn the dial once to 4. This should open it. If it does not, then take the lock to the store, and tell them you are having a problem. They may try it, and open it, or they may find that it is defective, and replace it.

twist it to the left about 3 times round and round then stop at 36. go one entire time around to 18. then go left to the 4

yes i can first of all go left 36 and then turn one full round and land on 18 and then right 4 shoudl open

Usually you have to go around twice when you do the second number. Or past the second number once before you stop at it.

You may have to get a locksmith, or a bolt cutter. I don't see any other options. Sorry.
