I've had some traffic infractions from when I was 17....guess what, Im 30!!! I have been so afraid of going to jail i just never attempted to go to court or handle it. There are two courts bail is set at 577.00 for each. Arrrgghhh! What should I say to ask for a court date WITHOUT going to jail (might happen anyways) Driving while suspended at 17 was the infraction...yeah yeah dumb I know. Help me solve it LOL

Talk to a lawyer first. It's often said that a person who represents himself has a fool for a client. Even lawyers get lawyers when they have personal court matters they have to deal with. It might cost more, but it's better than going to gaol.

Here in Australia if you're a member of a motoring organisation like the NRMA, they have a free legal service for members.

Yikes,

That is quite the time frame between the tickets and now. How you avoided law enforcement for so long is beyond me :)

Either way, I would not contact the court directly. Instead find a lawyer that has a free consulatation nd deals with traffic stuff. He/She should be able to take care of the Warrant, and neogoatiate the citation down to something more managable.

Good luck! I wish you well, i had trouble with my drivers licesense as well at one time. :)

Do not contact the Court directly. Go to an attorney and do what he/she tells you to do.

Hire a good attorney. It might be better for him to handle it for you.

You must be truthful, respectful, and direct.
