Most of the time the single women who are good looking, intelligent and independent and on the way to becoming wealthy are pounding on my front door...I hate being sexy... but someone has to do it.

Join a club or take a class related to something you love doing. Then you will meet someone who shares an interest in at least one thing with you.
And, for Pete's sake, don't "hope to get picked up!" Go out and pick someone else up! Be confident and enjoy yourself and realize that you deserve to be happy! Only then will you find a partner in life.
