I am the same as many who have answered here. I am a follower of Jesus. He is my Savior, Lord and Friend.
I happen to attend a Presbyterian church, but that is not the only place where He can be worshipped sincerely and faithfully. The Gospel message is going out in churches of various denominations (a better word than "sect", which infers that it is not totally Bible-believing).
It is more important to dwell on having the essentials of the faith in common than to mess with the differences that are not basic for the faith and salvation.

I'm a bible believing christian. Only God knows a person's heart. If one has been born again and their beliefs line up with God's holy word, the bible then they are saved. I know Pentecostals (NOT PICKING ON THEM OR ANYONE ELSE EITHER) believe that if you don't pray in tongues then you won't enter heaven...strange, huh? Different sects believe different things but in God's word it doesn't say anything about having to "do" this or "do" that to be saved. Just remember what JOHN 3:16 says. There are many verses in the bible that concentrate on "believing" in Jesus. I think people from all different sects will be in heaven one day as long as their beliefs line up with what the bible says. It's not an opinion really, it's exactly what the Word says.

I was baptized Catholic. But I have grown up and have questioned my religion. I have kept what I want and left the rest. What I have is faith that there is an order to the universe and that when we die there is an afterlife.
I may not be able to prove it, but that does not matter to me. I know it to be true because it resonates in me. Am I a follower well no I am not I do not fit in organized religions because I do question a lot and often, plus I am not satisfied with everybody pointing to the bible to teach me.
I do not think that people that are not christian are lost they can believe whatever they want they are have as much of a right to be here as anyone and they are here to teach us too. We are all here for a reason there is an order and a destiny for all of us.

I am a follower of Jesus. All who believe in Jesus and follow after His ways make up His church. Different "sects" are simply people's way of dividing up preferences in how we worship and serve. The only way a "sect" is lost, is if they are not following in the ways of Jesus. A person can not call oneself a disciple if they are not following the leader.

The disciples where followers of Christ, if you follow there example and do as Christ would have you, then you are a follower of Christ, Christian is suppose to mean Christ like if you call yourself a christian but then do not follow his example as the bible teaches, then you are not a real christian, as far as i am concerned if this sects you speak of is not taught in the bible the real king james bible then it is of man not of God. and if you follow after mans teaching even if it relates to spirituality then yes you could be lost.

some Christians do not keep in mind Roman Catholics to be particularly Christians, and those are maximum in many cases protestants. yet surprisingly plenty, Roman Catholics are Christian in spite of the undeniable fact that now not all Christians are Catholic. Roman Catholics are lead via way of the Pope in Rome. Protestants do not comprehend the Pope's authority and are geared up into hundreds of unique denominations. The eastern Orthodox(Greek Orthodox, Russian Orthodox) additionally do not comprehend the Pope, in spite of if their teachings and ceremonies are comparable to the Roman Catholics. The Eucharist is meant to be Jesus's physique and Blood, this could nicely be a Holy Sacrament, an overly huge-unfold factor of Catholic church ceremony. i don't think of in it. i will sort of understand the assumption in spite of the undeniable fact that i'm now not Catholic or Christian. on no account be afraid of asking questions of your priest or fellow parishioners.

I am a follower of Jesus. I am nondenominational, not a sect. I believe as long as salvation is being taught, and repentance of sin, then the minor differences of the various denominations matter very little.

What sect? None
We are all on the same path going to the same place.
No one can realistically claim they are "the one".
I do not recall anywhere in the Bible where Jesus named a denomination.
All are the same in the eyes of GOD.

I am a member of the body of Christ, the chosen elect. Called before I was even formed in my mothers womb. Redeemed, forgiven, sanctified, consecrated and humbly serving Him until Jesus returns according to His promise in the Word.
Peace.
