Well i downloaded this vid off the internet, i tried playing it and this window pops up saying "Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file." can someone help me solve this issue so i can watch my video?

media player often codec troubles can try an get new codecs plus you have to remember not ALL videos you download are good videos alot often are bad an wont play at all

it wouldn't play files made for quick time. You need to find another program like windvd. They have free dvd or video players on the net.
