You are the only one who can truly change your mood, which is truly a physical thing. Take action. Choose to do an activity you like (reading a book, compose a webpage, whatever).
I personally find being kind to another chirps me up. Take some time to send ecards to long lost friends. Count your blessings......you could be so much worse off than sitting in front of a computer. Think of all the people who have lost a loved one recently that would just 'love' being able to have your bad of a day.
But it truly is a choice. Tell yourself this every morning, "Have a nice day unless you made other plans."

Go for a brisk 10-15 minute walk. You will feel like a new person, and much much happier.
If you're experiencing depression on a regular basis, try getting some type of exercise each day if possible. It does wonders for the psyche!

You need to remember that GOD so loved the world, he gave his only begotten SON. Cheer up!! Take back you wholeness and know that you are Loved, even when it feels like you're not. I Love you in spirit because God Made You and All Of Us, Take comfort in knowing this. Hand back the Depress Feeling to the darkness and rejoice in the Light of God.

Pamper your body, get off this forum and stimulate your mind, call a friend or family member, enjoy the outdoors, play with your pet... the list is endless. Engage your body and your mind. You'll feel better.
I lost both of my parents last year... I know how it feels. All the more reason to take good care of yourself... you'll be grieving.

depression=a feeling (no feelings are based in fact) of not being loved
count the ppl who love you
go back in your memory to a happy day ie; bitrhday party, last day of school, first day of school whatever and relive the moment
any day above ground is a good day

God loves you so much that you could not imagine how much if you thought about it for the rest of your life. This great and all-powerful God, the one who created the giant stars and planets and the smallest microbes crawling in the ground ... loves you, knows your name, and knows everything about you, even the bad stuff ... and still loves you unconditionally.
And no matter how depressed or bad or angry you ever feel, God still is holding you in the palm of his hand, healing the hurt places inside you that you haven't even started to know about yet.

go take a bath and pamper yourself. go for a walk. go get an ice cream sundae because you deserve it. go do something nice for someone else.. you'll feel better. cheer up sweetie. =) you never know what the day will bring you.
