In my class there is a person from United States, but I don't know how to speak to him.
What do I make?

His spanish, and your english, will improve by speaking to each other! He probably feels very alone and isolated. Any conversation will probably be appreciated. When you learned english, you probably learned some basic conversation topics - the weather, family, things like that. Those are great ways to get to know each other, and if he knows some spanish he probably knows those same words.

They don't generally teach Spanish in the US. So have patience while the person gets used to the new language.
I don't know how old you are. Foreign language of any kind is not required in High School (primary school) and Spanish is not the only language offered. Only students who plan to go to university take foreign language classes.

Just say "hi" and motion to him if he'd like to join your group for coffee after class or going to the library, etc. He'll gain confidence. You always comprehend the language first; then, the confidence to speak will come later. Let him just observe your group. You'll see. Best wishes!

Know how he is feeling been in that same boat myself going form one dialect of Spanish to another dialect when changing countries.
Your best bet is to approach him and let him know you want to be his friend. Also tell him you know he can't speak Spanish very good and you can't speech English very good but being friends he can help you with your English and you can help him with his Spanish.

If you like this person speak to him with the little that you know and use signs, when there is affinity and attraction the words exceed. Luck

If you are in love with each other, it doesn't matter what language you speak. You will learn how to really communicate both of you.
