There is no such one food. You need a wide range of food to achieve your goals. To me, that will be low carb, low fat, high fibre, high protein foods.
Details such as my weight loss experience, meals, snacks, recipes, foods to buy, reading labels, walking as an exercise and to shape the body etc etc, are in my blog.

Dates (the ones with high moisture are best)
contain many vitamins and minerals, fiber, carbs, some protein, and very little fat.
an arabic poet once said (about dates)
food of the poor
desert of the rich
supply of the traveler and the foreigner
(sounds much better in arabic)
try it , it's really good! but you migh have to travel to get the good ones !

the key: moderation. you need a balence of all the things to stay heathy. brocoli and salmon are great for you tho.
i would recomend going high protein over low fat, because you burn fat by building muscle. you would get better results on this plan.

There is no one food that will provide all the nutrients and amino acids you need.
The closest combination is rice and beans. But it will never replace a balanced diet.
Why, are you planning on stranding yourself on a deserted island?
