OK first of all how much water do you drink a day? Thirst pains are often confused with hunger pains. So a lot of people eat when their body really needs water.Secondly it takes 28 days to make a habit and 28 to stop one, so if it's been this long you will have to find a way to brake it by keeping busy doing something to keep from eating. Do something besides what you are doing that gives you the time to eat. As much as a lot of people hate it, get some exercising in , bike riding ,anything. Change your current habits. It will help.

Eat a high-fat and high-protein dinner, no later than 7:30 PM, with NO CARBS. That will keep you full for a long time.
You may drink some low-sugar juice, and all the water you want to keep your stomach busy. Decaf tea is probably all right.

Stop all eating for the evening at 8 PM... when you graze before bedtime, you are killing the calorie-burning function of your metabolism. Train your body this way.

If you wake up starving, then eat something high in protein for breakfast... eggs, cheese, meat. Eat fruit as snacks beginning 2 hours after that.

If you cannot get any sleep after a couple of weeks of training your body this way, you need to do a parasite cleanse. The easiest way to do that is with the Hanna Kroeger products.

If your body wakes you up and you feel hungry have a glass of water. Many times your body mixes up the signal for thirst with hunger. Keep a bottle of water next to your bed so you never even have to go in the kitchen. If you are not remembering eating you may need to do something drastic such as putting locks on the cabinets and fridge before you go to bed. Hope everything gets better!

drink lots of water during the day. don't eat carbohydrates, because they spike your blood sugar level, so when you burn that sugar you'll feel extremely hungry and feel like you can eat the whole fridge.
I have the same problem as well, but I eat because I am bored or stressed. I don't know if that's the case with you. If so, then try to occupy your mind with something else. something fun.
Also, try going to bed earlier. you have to train yourself.
Eat plenty of protein. since protein takes longer to digest, it will leave you with a full feeling for much longer.

Oh, you CAN stop. It's will power!

Make sure you eat right during the day, get in your vitamins, protien, fruits & veggies. Then when you think you are hungry at night, try a glass of water instead. Often we think we are hungry when we just need water!

You can also ask your doctor. They can help you make sure you are getting all the nutrients you need during the day.

You have to get out of the habit. Tell yourself you can eat in the morning, you aren't missing anything. It will be there tomorow.
You also have to start to associate night with a time that is not for eating. Don't associate night with eating. Once you break the habit once it will be easier to continue.

I have this problem to. My husband got tested for sleep apnea adn had to spend the night in a room being observed by doctrs. He had a bunch of paperwork to fill out...anyway I was helping him and there was a section on symptoms of insomnia. That was a huge symptom of insomnia (not all...there are many types of insomnia). Ask your doctor.

Force yourself on a steady diet. Eat at reasonable hours and go to bed at reasonable hours. If you get hungry at 1:30 do not feed yourself.
