if you need energy, try eating foods high in protien. Peanutes and peanut butter are the best energy foods. Make your own trail mix with
1 cup peanutes
1 cup m&ms
1 cup raisins
1 cup pretzels
1 cup dried fruits- sugar free, if you can find it (banana, apple, strawberry, whatever!)
mix together in a bowl and eat when you need a boost of energy :)

the reason caffiene and sugars make you crash:
the sugar will make you "hyper" for a little while, but when it wears off your body is worn out from all the sugar or caffiene running through it, so dont eat foods with sugar for energy, its really bad for you :)

Anything that is supposed to give you energy is going to have a crash because they are all high in sugar or caffeine. The only thing you can do to get more energy without a crash is to eat healthy and exercise.
