First of all, I'm not pregnant, and I'm not depressed. But for some reason, lately I don't want to eat. Even though I'm hungry, nothing sounds good unless I'm out at a restaurant or something. And I just don't have the money to go out to eat every day. Nothing at the grocery store seems appetizing, except for granola bars. And I've been eating nothing but granola bars for the past month, and I'm starting to get sick of those. Although I did lose like 10 pounds from eating nothing but granola bars and drinking only water..but that's beside the point. All I want for answers is how I can gain back my appetite. I don't want the cause of my loss of appetite, just some solutions. I've tried listing all my favorite foods, but some how that didn't really help. What should I do?!?

Uh..I live in Washington, so there's not really a whole lot of heat right now. But..I'm just going to try and eat only the foods I like until I regain my appetite.

It is probably just the heat. The sugar in those granola bars isn't going to do you any good, and chances are it is just feeding candida. If you have been on antibiotics the past year, that is a good probability.
A candida overgrowth will cause swelling and loss of appetite, as well as cravings for sweet and starchy stuff that feeds the candida.

Start by eating something with some life force to it... and some real nutrition in it. Some real fruit.
Bananas and fresh pineapple are great, and they are soothing.
A handfull of raw nuts has enough fat to keep you going.
Try freezing some grapes and eating them like little popsicles.

If you have a juicer, start using it... making sure that you have a lot of greens (spinach, kale, parsley) and enough fruit to make the greens palatable. The nutrition in that is unbeatable.

Sometimes I just get in a food rut. So... I go through all my saved recipes, flip through food magazines, visit cooking sites, and find some new ideas here in the food section. Plus, for me, the weather being so hot, I don't always feel inspired or up to cooking. But, that usually passes soon enough, lol. Enjoy & have fun!
