Bad points about Australia?

Can somebody please tell me some negative points about life in Australia? What are the teenagers like in comparasin to those in the United Kingdom?

Well as you may have noticed many people who have said something bad about australia have got a thumbs down rating. Australians can not handle other people's opinions. Most of them are too caught up in thinking they have the best country in the world to even consider the fact that there might be other countries out there.

I myself have moved to new zealand from sydney.

The problems i faced was traffic, pollution, grot, un safety and pushiness but that was just in westurn sydney. Gold coast is nice as is cairns.

Other things I find different from here to aus is that people in australia generally dont want to know you unless your conected in some high upper class way. New zealnaders just want to genreally get to know you out of friendliness.

Australia has many dangeours creatures and i never ever felt safe walking through long grass of fear of snakes. Crime is also on the rise in many parts of australia (particulary brisbane) My cousin was killed in the Port arthor massacre and that really made me sad. The USA is not the only country that has massacres.

The other thing i notice about australians is that they seem to think they are God's gift to the planet. "We live in the best country in the world lade dah de ******* dah.

Im not saying australia is a bad place, I am just saying that some australians think it is better than everything else.

Teenagers are pretty much the same then everywhere else..

There is also a drought there and you cant have a shower for more then 3 mins without some one knocking on the door,, it is so annyoing.

Gang violence is also on the rise in aus as it is here in nz.

There is also a lot of racism here, particulary towards muslims, abouriginals and asians. Although some times you cant really blame some of the aussies the way some of these people live. There are literally ethnic ghettos in some parts of sydney. Cabramatta is an asian one. Mainly veitnamese gangs and stuff like that. Really an awful place.

Blacktown in the cities west is also pretty bad and don't even get me started on Mount Druitt and Bidwill.

Also australians can also be very judgemental, and rude sometimes. When I first moved to nz I could not get over that some people wore their pj's to the supermarket but now its part of every day life. If i did that in australia people would class me as a "dag"

Although australia is a nice place it is not all sweat lollie pops and roses

Sydney: Cabramatta, Bidwill, Liverpool, Campletown, Mount Druitt, Black town, Seven Hills, Penrith, Kings cross, Lekemba, Bass hill, Yagoona and Bankstown.

Nice areas of sydney are anywhere near the beach.

Also avoid some areas of the beutiful gold coast such as nerang.

Teenagers are the same all over the world. Some good some not so good.

The worst thing about Australia at the present time is the lack of proper rain in many places.
Hopefully, we'll get some good rain from the low hanging around off the Queensland coast.

There is not many crimes in Australia, Australia is very safety country in the world, it got long life expectancy. The only things is bad is the animal: Box Jellyfish, snake, spider, and great white shark, but shark attack in Australia is very rare.

everything is messed up about Australia, specially the dumb government.
bad roads, bad education system, not technologically advanced, public transport system such as trains are extremely slow and many many... years old. High concentration of emos.

the only things they are good at are advertising, insurance, and many ways to make you pay money. many people can not seem to perceive the big true reality. even if they do they can not do shiitt

Second question first. Australian teenagers are the same as those in the United Kingdom. There are good, bad, pretty and ugly everywhere and that goes for behaviour as well as in looks.

Negative points about life in Oz? Various...

Poisonous spiders, snakes, blue ring octopii - not everywhere more prevalent in the bush and in the outback, (except - obviously - the octopus!) but you have to be careful. Australia has the most poisonous spiders and snakes in the world.

Racism is a problem in some places due to the extreme levels of multiculturalism, especially if you go to places that have been traditionally one race and through the years is changing to another race.

The weather is not the fabulous always-sunny days that international people seem to believe of Australia. The north of Australia has its wet season during summer, and lasts for several weeks. The south has milder weather but in summer it is usually hot and dry, and in winter it is usually cold and wet. People joke about Melbourne's weather that if you don't like the weather just wait a couple of hours and it will change! It does change, but not as drastically as that!

I guess that Australia is pretty much like any other country. It has its ups and its downs like everywhere else.

Way too expensive. Too reliant on mining. Isolated. Backward in many places. Highest level of skin-cancer in the world. No "Bill-Of-Rights" in their constitution. A major water problem in the making. Etc.....

Most people do not see any of the venomous creatures Australia is famous for except in zoos. They are there but they are mostly shy and will get out of your way. Teenagers are teenagers anywhere, there are good ones and bad ones. The worst thing about Australia at the moment is Little Lying Johnny, the Prime Minister, but we will remedy that later this year.
