I understand your frustration but I think in the end this would be damaging to you as well. You are not a hateful close minded person and to behave as such would start to wear on you mentally. You would be letting the ones who are looking for a reaction win. When we fight hate with hate nobody wins. As I said I can completely understand why you feel this way but really if you do that it just gives them the opportunity to point the finger and say "see, I told you they were {insert hateful description here}" Remember we are here and your friends understand and are always supporting you.

Some times, I do, and have even been called a heretic once by a friend, because I am Pagan. But I am at the stage now that I really do not care what anyone of any religion (or non-religion) thinks of what I believe in.

As long as I am happy, then everyone else is free to worry and fret over the "salvation" of my soul while I go and enjoy life.

Additional here -

Based on what you have added within the last 8 minutes, "Good grief do you all LISTEN to yourselves?" - don't you think you are also being a little excessive? It makes you sound as though you want everyone here to agree with you.

Still, after reading much of these replies, I can't really blame you for that comment.

As long as the religion isn't issuing orders to go out and kill, lighten up. If you want to get pissed at someone regarding religion, get mad at the evil insanes who have dragged Islam to an edge where it was never intended. remember 911. [imagine what it would be like, to look down 87 floors and know what a great relief it woild be to jump, rather than burn. At least 23 people did that on 911. Ofcourse, none survived when they splashed on the pavement below.]

Don't stoop to their levels. If they start it, by all means finish it, but there is no need to be as obnoxious as they are. I've yet to see an atheist stand on the street corner screaming that there is no God. Christians have that market cornered. That and crazy.

Can you be selective which ones you are currently 'nice' too? Can they change?
As a Christian; I am somewhat against the way I see and hear other 'Christians' responding also. Does it mean I should act like them currently?

I'm taking it you're Jewish or Muslim???

Don't lower yourself to their level- they are obviously scared about what is outside of their religion, so leave them to their stupidity if they're not willing to accept other peoples' faith. In the end, Christians make up only a percentage of the world!

You know what, treat us as you wish. After all the name-calling by Atheists that I've read (mental, delusional, stupid, gullible, brainwashed, etc.), any Christians on Y!A who haven't developed thick skin must be new here.

Who is ugly to you? I'm Christian and I've never done anything to anger you as far as I know. I would like to apologize for them because when they act rude mean it disgraces our religion. They should know that in Romans 12:13-14 it says:

Share with God's people who are in need. Practice hospitality.
Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn. Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited.

have you ever been in a Sunday school class? have you ever been confirmed? have you ever learned to love your church friends more than any other friends because they turn out to be the ones that are a.l.w.a.y.s there for you? probaby not, if you had then you would know what you're talking about before you shoot your mouth off.

there are some Christians that only pray when they want something, and aren't very tolerent, there are some black people who can't dance, some latin people who don't have a big butt, some french people who aren't arrogent, americans who aren't lazy... this is just another stupid steriotype.

I know I do. I used to get comments on how I should have my son baptized so he doesn't follow my "evil" path. It really annoys me, especially when it is my own family. I usually make the comment that, at least my goddess didn't kill her own son.
