All life was created for a purpose in the world, although I agree with Pastor Art, there were a lot of critters that were not on the Ark because they didn't need to be, they did just fine outside. Remember, there were a whole lot of dead bodies floating around out there.

But imagine if he had left out the squirrels!!!

Actually, fruit flies are my example of why I believe the ark story is a myth. Imagine going to all that trouble to build an ark and then not doing a little judicious culling out of God's major errors. But forgetting the unicorns was clearly unforgivable! LOL

Yeah, and the mosquitoes. And don't even get me started on the viruses. Wow, that's a lot of petri dishes and some pretty high tech biophysics for a Dark Age dolt.

He was a brave man to take the woodworm on board too.

Contrary to what pastorart says, most insects could not have survived forty days of flooding and neither could most fish (the salt levels in the water, to which they are extremely sensitive, would altered so dramatically that they would have quickly sicked and died). Ever seen a butterfly out in a thunderstorm? Insects need shelter. Fish need stable environments. It's astounding that people can pass puberty and still believe the ark story might be true.

But he did, he did leave off the horseflies, and all the other flies and all the other horses. And everything else. No Noah, no Ark, no global flood. Fiction.

Why didn't he just throw those two ticks off of the Ark?

lol... I've always giggled at the thought of trying to transport termites in a wooden ark. That must have been a challenge! :-P
