without getting into details (it wasnt horrible I'll tell you that) how hard will it be to get an upgrade to a honorable discharge?

the reason why is not going to divulged. But being that I was discharged under honorable conditions, it was that bad....lol

Contact the VA, they will let you know. Or, see if there is a lawyer in your area that has some knowlage of military law and regulations, they will be able to help you out.

It simply means, for reasons beyond your control. No body will hold that against you. You have done your job, so leave it behind you. Employers, except national security positions, rarely ask to see your discharge papers so, not to worry.

The chances of getting your discharge upgraded is between you and the branch of service that issued the discharge, my guess is they won't bend .

After a certain period of time you can ask for your service to be recharacterized. Your Congressperson is the first place to start.

you will have to prove the discharge was awarded in error.

Any discharge should be treated asap. Go to the doctor.

you must apply for that and VERY FEW are granted, except under exceptional conditions.
