Being a good person dosn't matter, you have to believe:
Obviously, atheists dont give money to churches and aren't controlled by them. Same for people who believe in different Gods.

Homosexuality and condoms are sins/ reproduction:
They want you to have offspring to increase thier influence and amount of people giving them money. Homosexuality and condoms reduce that, Plus, the only 'accepted' form of sex is sex to have offspring, at least according to some of them.

IT IS A SIN TO QUESTION GOD?!:
Of course, this one speaks for itself, wow. Control.

Heaven and Hell:
Threatening you with Hell and promising you with Heaven increases likeliness you will follow that religion.

Suicide is a sin:
you need people to be alive to get thier money and control.

The words and phrases:
All of these words like 'LORD' and 'ALL MIGHTY' and "SAVIOR', are just designed to intimidate you and oppress any feelings of doubt when they use big bad words like that.

Can you add to my list?

Heavy emphasis on 'faith':
The want to glorify having 'faith' in order to make you withstand evil things like 'Logic" and 'Rationallity".

"oh dear that isn't *real* christianity"

"well, it is not sin to question God therefor everything you just said is wrong"

Speaking of which, the 'emphisis on faith' can replace 'questioning god' if you want.

NOTICE HOW EVERYONE IS ATTACKING ME, CALLING ME NAMES, PRAYING FOR ME,

EVEYTHING *EXCEPT* TELLING ME HOW I AM WRONG.

no, unlike you i made a quite extensive elaboration, you do the same and I will consider exchanging intelligence with you.

Sweeping generalizations? I stated true things about the christian religion, homosexuality is a sin, suicude ect, then My analysis as to how it adds up to control and so forth.

No sweeping generalizations.

Picture in your mind, a stick man with a shovel.
He is walking and then stops and starts to dig a hole.
After he gets the hole about 4 feet deep, a bird flies over him and drops poo right on his head.
The stickman looks up and curses the bird for a little while.
Then proceeds to walk right into the hole he dug.

Wow. Who hurt you? You know, it's interesting that most people who have a bad image of God never had a bad experience with God; they had a bad experience with someone who called themselves a 'Christian' but didn't act like one....so whatever happened to sway you to be so negative, that's a shame.

First, "Being a good person" DOES matter. It can't save you, but we are not called to be nasty. And having a personal relationship with God, which is what religion and church SHOULD be all about, have nothing to do with money. Whether or not I give my tithe is between me and God, not anyone else, and if you think the church wouldn't survive without money, think back to where it started.

Second, I don't believe that using condoms is a sin, and as for homosexuality, it's not about reproduction. It's about how we were designed and rebelling against that. I couldn't care less if Christians have children or not; that's an individual's decision, not the church's. You may be referring to Catholic beliefs, but I think the Catholics are misled in a great many areas. And if you DO have children, it has nothing to do with money.....if that were true, we'd be passing out condoms to poor people, since they suck money out of the system and don't add to it.
And I'm not sure who told you that the only "accepted" form of sex is to reproduce, but that's ridiculous. Read the Song of Solomon sometime.

Is it a sin to question God? No. God Himself says "Come, let us reason together" Isaiah 1:18. He's big enough to answer your questions (and deal with your misplaced anger).

Threatening with hell and promising heaven....well, if you word it that way, it DOES sound manipulative. The truth is that you can choose either. Nobody's forcing you into one or the other. And if you don't believe in them, why would you care anyway?

Suicide being a sin....I believe that some people have commited suicide and gone to heaven. It's not about the act; it's about the heart. Somebody really laid some extreme amount of legalism on you.

Titles like "Lord" and "Almighty" and "Savior" are words of reverence. People may not like them because they mean we must acknowledge God having authority over us, and we don't like that very much.

Glorifying 'faith' over logic and rationality? I have to laugh at that. Is it more logical to believe in God who makes Himself known not only through His word but also EVERY DAY in Christians lives, or to believe that life came from non-life, apes evolved from slime, and we evolved from apes? If the universe being created happened by accident then your thoughts are accidents, too.

You say "it is literally impossible for you to agree no matter correct i am", so you set yourself up as 'god', having the ONLY right answer and think we should have faith in what YOU say.....you doing what you accuse us of doing....and frankly, yeah, it's impossible for me to agree with you because YOU ARE WRONG.

I understand the frustration.
It's best to abandon religions especially fundamentalist Christianity and seek the Kingdom of Heaven that Jesus spoke of.
You know people by the way they behave or as Christ said by the fruit they bare.
If people discourage your faith then avoid them. If they inspire hatred avoid them. Still do not judge, just recognize your own limitation. We aren't here to change one another by opinions.

People close to God have characteristics:
They aren't judgmental of anyone.
They aren't arrogant.
They don't pretend to be better than others.
They make you feel welcome.
They love.

If people aren't like this then be like this toward them so they might be instructed by your actions.

God bless you.

No. If there is then it fairly is a faux one. you could not believe purely a element of the Bible, you're able to desire to believe all of it. All or none. I giggle at people such as you who think of you're able to do in spite of you opt for, thoroughly brushing aside the guidelines of God and picture you could exchange your strategies on the final time to maintain your self from an enduring eternity in hell.

Have you ever had a counterfit $20.00 dollar bill in your hand?
Surely you'll admit its difficult to tell it from a real $20.00.
Same with Christianity.
There is a counterfit called christendom.
You have obviously been affected by it.
However, you refuse to be suckered in.
Good!
However, the genuine article still does exist.
Its called Christianity.
Please don't confuse it with counterfit christendom.

Of course words like 'lord' and 'savior' have depth. This is called connotation, friend, and it exists everywhere.

It is not a sin to question; that's how you learn. Jesus didn't go around smiting people who asked him questions, did he?

And the suicide bit? You are just grabbing at thin air with that one.

so, you're thinking some sins were "created" by the church so that more people would pay them money? okay, honsetly, please think about what you're saying. it's dumb. you're the one in denial.

ps: no sins were created by the church. mankind had no trouble at all coming up with them themselves.

Religion is a set of methods to help transform your mind in a positive way.

It is only a scam when you allow it to be or are non-religious and choose to look only for its inconsistencies.
