God immediately forgives and he puts your sin, into the sea of forgetfulness.

First off, you need to be truly repentant in your heart. That is the first step of forgivness. If you are not truly sorry for what you have done, for what trangressions against G-d you have committed, then you won't get anywhere.

For you must both be able to forgive yourself and also turn to G-d with sorrow at having crossed his love.

G-d's forgiveness is not timed. I would not say that it is a quick as a second or as long as a life time.

Instead, when G-d forgives you I would say that you would know. That your heart is lightened for you have not only been forgiven but G-d has taken your burdened.

If you cannot forgive yourself however, you cannot get forgiveness from G-d. It is not that G-d won't offer you forgiveness but that you won't accept it.

It says in Genesis that we are held accountable for actions. If you are truly forgiven I would daresay that you would not be judged. But in the end that is G-d's place. He is both righteous and with compassion. Just and with mercy. Don't worry about that.

When someone repents of sin, they are reborn right then into a new and different person. The past is past. It doesn't matter any more. God doesn't care about the past, He cares about the future. Altho He will judge the sinners and the devil and the devils angels and followers for all their past, a true Christian has no past according to the Bible. God has cast our sins into the sea of forgetfulness.

Here is a scripture : " As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us." Psalm 103 : 12 That means He forgives and puts the sin out of His mind, and no judgement required. But, you must be sincere in your repentance, and He knows if you're not !

The bible tells us that if we truly repent from the heart to God that our sins will be cast as far as east is from west and will be remembered no more. However, we still may reap what we sow. There may be earthly consequenses for our actions.
