Good Camera?

anybody know a goodcamera wit lots of megapixelas(the name and where i can buy it from and the price)

Go to your library and see if they have Buyer's Guides published by the various photography magazines. Most photography magazines have websites so you can read their Guides there. Read them. Educate yourself. Decide how involved you want to get in photography.

Buy your first camera from a real camera store - not a store that happens to sell cameras as well as 1,000 other things or from an on-line seller. The salespeople in a dedicated camera store are trained to know the features and benefits of every camera they sell. Buying from them gives you ready access to someone who can answer your questions, help solve problems and offer intelligent advice. Try explaining a problem over the phone to a CSR in Taiwan or India or China. Good luck with that. Ask a clerk at Wal-Mart a camera question and you'll likely get a blank stare.

Once you've selected and bought your new camera, STUDY the Owner's Manual. Read it and become familar with your camera. Then start using and enjoying it.

Fill out all the paperwork and register your camera with the manufacturer. Keep your receipt. Keep the original box and packing - if you ever have to send it off you'll need it.

you could find a lot of different cameras, it just depends on what you looking for... you want a point and shoot? or maybe a SLR(professional)? you could go to best buy, circuit city, amazon.com even Ritz camera and check out the different styles.
If you want a point and shoot you could start with a Sony Cyber Shot DSC-W55 it got 7.2 mega pixels, there's a Fuji FinePix A900 with 9 Mega pixels... both are $199.99.
if you want a SLR go with the Canon XTi it has 10.1 MP and it is about $850.00 or Nikon D40x $800.00
