once you pay on it again, and it gets paid off, will it still show on your credit negatively, or what will it show up as after being paid, will you still have a derogatory on your report?

If you have paid it off at the regular agreed amount, you can ask the lender to remove the negative report from your credit report, or to change it to a late pay. If you paid it off at an agreed lower payment, it will be "satisfied at a lower amount:.

After it's paid, it will still show up on your report for 7 years after the last payment. Your late payment will appear on your report for two years.

Yes it will show up as satisfied, but on your report for 7 years from the last transaction
