An increase in fiber will help control your stool. Vegetables and fruits have a lot a fiber. I personally am dealing with this problem as well and my doctor told me to increase the fiber and cut down on the sugar. Cheese is also a good source of fiber. A hot bath will also help the hemorrhoids.

A balanced diet, including proper soluble and insoluble fiber intake, assists in the management of hemorrhoid flare ups. Vegetables are high fiber foods. Foods high in sugar or high in salt (read "snack foods") tend to disrupt the digestive system; especially w/ low fiber intake. Fibers are the transport medium for the digestive system. Vegetables won't cure your hemorrhoids, but an inclusion of them coupled w/ a reduction of snack foods intake will reduce the frequency of flare-ups and the severity of the flare-ups.

Yes; more fruit and veggies. Hemorrhoids are usually related to constipation. Also, drink a lot of water.

I have no idea if it'll work, but more veggies certainly won't hurt you, so why not give it a shot?
