If it is regular Pepsi, then you might gain a lot of weight, because there is a lot of sugar in it. If it is diet, you may have heard that aspartame (the artificial sweetener) can cause cancer, but this is only if you drink massive quantities, like several liters a day. However, some studies have shown that people who drink diet sodas still gain weight, possibly because the artificial sweeteners have some effect on the body, like making you want to eat more.
The phosphoric acid in cola can eat away at your teeth. Because you have braces and it is harder to keep your teeth clean, you really should not drink so much Pepsi because the sugar and phosphoric acid can give you cavities.

2 cans of soda per day is probably not going to do a whole lot of harm - mostly to your teeth, which can be mended with good brushing/flossing. Caffeine is not a harmful drug when used in "normal" quantities. Too much caffeine will definitely spur an addiction (in the sense that you'll feel tired/fatigued frequently, making you want some caffeine to wake you up - most common in college students).
I would be more concerned if the number of drinks began to increase - this goes for soda, coffee, etc. If you're really worried about being seriously "addicted", try other drinks that might quench your thirst, like juices or iced teas, or even water.

Honestly You shouldn't be drinking more than one a day. Caffeine Is adictive So Understand That it would be hard for you to cut down on the sodas. The thing is Soda Breaks down/eats away at your bones. There for when your older you may have weak bones. Teeth wise Soda eats away at your tooth enamal. Over all Soft drinks are NOT good for you.
It's okay to have one once and a while, but I suggest you cut back.

the only person who can decide if this is really OK is you.
24 oz. a day gives you a lot of sugar and caffeine - water would be better - but happiness is what gets us through life and if those two cans aren't hurting you (like if you had diabetes or a weight problem) then enjoy them.
best advice - just watch your overall sugar and caffeine intake
two cans won't kill you, but two cans plus three cups of coffee plus chocolate plus cake, ect.,ect., will do some serious damage to your system over time

Well you could get rotten teeth. The acid will corrode your enamel. Also it will expand your stomach and make you eat more.
