I think all malice stops at the keyboard. Its just easy to be tough on the web and say things that you wouldnt dare say in real life
I think most people here learn from others perspectives. But I also believe there are some people that have their minds made up and dont WANT to learn

Why NOT try to damage a person's faith? If it's real it can handle it.
Why NOT try to convert an atheist? Christians believe they're commanded by God to do so.
Why ask feel-good questions about belief systems you already understand and have ruled out?
My point is that you're not necessarily promoting a better use of YA, just a different one. And you can certainly go around trying to understand people and giving out hugs and thumbs and whatever other happy thing you want to do, but why is it necessary for your happiness that everyone else conform to your idea of what's morally good?
Don't take this answer wrong; I'm just trying to understand you so I can love you more.

Totally agree. I just received very respectful and informative answers to a question I posted, and I must confess that I really tried to write the question in a polite and respectful way, considering it was a touchy subject. It was totally worth it: The result was amazing!
Yes, YA can be a great tool, is up to us how we use it.

Since I've visited Religion and Spirituality over here, I've only grown less understanding towards religion. The same for reading the bible, the more I do it, the better I know why I'm an atheist.

That is the best possible use this forum could be put to. Like any other tool it is subject to the use of the one holding it. A hammer can be used to build, or to destroy. I find your question to be a request that people be accountable for their own actions, thanks for the reminder.

I agree completely. That's why I come into this section... to share, to ask, to learn. I try to ignore the people who come on here to cause bad feeling, Ive got better things to do with my energy.
Wishing you peace & understanding too!
