Smoked meats keep well in the frig. If you have already defrosted it, I would just keep it in the frig. for a few days until ready to use, or cook it now and keep it in the frig. or refreeze cooked. You're dealing with product that is actually already cooked from smoking.

yes but only for about a month. make sure to let the suage drop to room temp before frezzing. if you pu thot food in the frezzer bacteria bulids up

you should NEVER re-freeze meat that has been frozen once. not only can it spoil faster but will deteriorate and get freezer burn and the quality of the meat will not be there.

you can but you will ruin it anytime anything is smoked it has its own preservative by the smoking process
