I mean in every single conversation, love must be mentioned...
Almost every song is about love.
Almost every movie has love as one of its main plots.
Most people's LIVES revolve around love and it's always "We broke up so I guess it wasn't love" or "Omg I think I'm in love." and so on and so on.
I don't understand it. I don't see anything in love besides 2 people needing to feel wanted when it comes to couples *nature's trick to human reproduction*, in family it's nothing but a sense of obligation, and in friends it's nothing but survival in numbers and to dim the sense of loneliness all human beings are supposed to feel.
So why is the world obsessing over this not-so-fascinating concept?

Because being in love is sort of addicting. Everybody I think is fascinated by the concept of love once they've fallen in love (REAL love, not lust). When you're in love, the person you're in love with is the only thing you think about, and it's such a great feeling, and all people want to do is shout at the top of their lungs, "I'm so in love!!!". It's just that being in love is probably one of the most amazing feelings that you will ever get. It's like an all-consuming high; you really do feel like you could conquer anything with that special someone by your side. And it's hard to keep your bottled-up feelings of love inside, which is why so many people like to talk about love, listen to love songs, etc. It's an awesome feeling, which I think is why people are so addicted to it.

Obsessing about anything isn't good, but I'd rather see people obsess about love than obsess about hate and war, wouldn't you?

you're right, i hate how world is obsessed with love. Speaking too much about love makes it less valuable, it's like if everyone had million dollars how much million dollar worth will be.
And there's the media who set wrong ideas about love.

because its something everyone can relate to. By the way you're talking you've never been in love, neither have I, but I've heard its one of the best feelings.
