This may sound gross and may make me sound like a redneck but this is what me and my friends would do. First get a minnow bucket. Then drive around and find some roadkill. Put the roadkill in the bucket. Then tie the bucket to a tree near the water and throw the bucket where you plan on fishing at. Do this about two to three days before your planned trip. Then use whatever bait you want to (chicken livers, stink bait, etc.) The catfish will all over the bucket and your bait. You'll tear them up. Good luck

Thats a tough one but if I had only one BAIT to use that can catch all three I would choose Worms. It seems that not many fish can resist a good old night crawler.GOOD LUCK and KEEP FISHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!... Lure wise I would have to go with a jig with a grub(twister tail) or paddle tail trailer.
Something else to try would be a small white Blakemore Roadrunner.
For tips on how to rig and fish these lures check out this site:

As for bait, a nightcrawler, red wiggler worm or small 1"-2" minnow will usually get them. Something else to try for catfish that I have found good is hotdogs and you can even cut up some fish that you catch and use it like chum, but catfish are attracted to things that smell bad, theres also stinkbait that you can buy at wal-mart or just about anywhere else that uses chicken blood. And if you want to catch bream just put on a piece of bread on a real small hook and theyll come right to it, but mussels work good for bream too, and if you catch some put the hook through its back and throw it back out, it always works good for bass. Good Luck!

I love Catfishing ....The best answer is fish with whats natural to the area that you are fishing...IN Alabama ,Shad is the #1 food source and is hard to beat..But other top baits are live or cut bream,,,Shrimp it gets a fast bite but doesn't stay on well,..cataba worms and good ole wigglers, pink worms and night crawlers.Stink baits and dough baits would be last.

Mousefish! No just kidding, Light colored rubber worms or night crawlers. I have also had success with catfish stink bait fishing off the bottom of a 20 foot deep lake about 100 feet off shore.

Fresh Chicken Livers..You can put them in a small piece of old pantyhose (about 3"x3") to keep them in one piece on a treble hook. This way lets the blood and smell come thru and the Catfish love it.Tie off the panty hose square with a small piece of string or small rubber band........Works great!

For Flathead, live perch or live shad.
All others cats, I do well with shad guts, crawdads, liver, in that order.
All this can be bought at most bait shops. Or catch your own with a cast net or crawdad traps.

Hot dogs, seriously. I catch channel cats with oscar meyer brand hot dogs. Now mind you ,the fish are picky and will not bite on a genric or a off brand hot dog. Gotta be a name brand dog!
