I plan on writing Christian Newsletters and distributing them througout my neighborhood. I need 25 hours. And I was just wonderingif that sounds good and if people had any more suggestions about this project for me

ok, for my senior project we had to write a paper on what we were planning to do for the hands on portion of the project. And since the newsletter apparently isn't working, what do you suggest? It still has to involve Christian work. Like MInistry or something of the like

I think the newsletter is a great idea. I would read it. I might be a idea to put the names of churches in the area in your letter. Maybe ask a pastor to write a short note. You could also list community resources through local churches, ie. food bank, shelter, counseling. I believe that you have a heart to minister and I would not be discouraged by the answers that you received. God Bless You. I wish more young people would step out in faith.

Do you live on a christian commune or something where every one of your neighbors in gauranteed to be christian? If not, then why would you want to do this?

If I woke up to find a christian newsletter on my door or in my mailbox, I would throw it away and be irritated at the arrogance of whoever had put it there.

Why don't you do something more worthwhile for your 25 hours like volunteer at a shelter, food bank, or animal shelter? There are ACTUAL CHANGES for the Best that you can help make by Actually getting involved. Putting up a newsletter isn't going to help anyone who needs a home, a meal, or any animals who have been abused or neglected. Since you have the opportunity to do something that will actually make someone's situation better, then why don't you just do that instead?

Real action as opposed to self posturing is ALWAYS the better choice and ALWAYS has the better outcome.

Peace,
Jenn

Forget the christian newsletter. Make a neighbour newsletter., a newsletter that tells the latest news / info of the street you are living in , goal of the newsletter could be to glue the neighbours more to each other ( socially ). no gods involved

Someone else had a better idea. DO something to really help others in your neighborhood. Why not pick up trash? Offer to shop for someone who is disabled or who needs assistance. Organize a clean up the neighborhood gang.

IS this for a course? Do you have to do community service? Explain the 25 hour deal.

If you were in my neighborhood, I would be very unhappy with your Newsletters, and I'd let you know it.

You need to ensure you are not leaving them where they are not welcome. Our City has an ordinance that forbids leaving leaflets and newsletters around unless the homeowner has requested it. You may want to check in your community and neighborhood to ensure you will not be breaking rules or creating complaints.

How would you feel if a Satanist started leaving newsletters at your home?

I'd first suggest making sure that you won't be offending anybody in your neighborhood. If anybody will be offended, you shouldn't distribute your newsletter to them.

If it were my neighborhood, I wouldn't mind you distributing the newsletter but I wouldn't want to receive one.

You're saying you need 25 hours of what? Community service?

Try picking up the fliers littering your neighborhood, mowing a little old lady's lawn or doing a habitat for humanity build.

Spreading propaganda is not community service.

Forget the middle eastern bronze age goat herders fairy tales dear. Why don't you study and write about something interesting like science, economy or math?

So you would get school credit for writing and distributing mythological right wing propaganda?
