Ford Mondeo's are very reliable, and very strong cars. They are cheap to run, easy to fix and are hassle-free cars. Im a Japanese car-nut but would still recommend a Mondeo because its popular and a very well respected car in the UK. The Passat is another good car, they're slightly bigger, but expensive to run. I think that you have made a good choice.

Just average build quality Ford Mondeo and VW has german roots. But over in the UK your nation is all about little ( put put )cars with .9 liter diesels that only make a tbl spoon full of carbon per mile. In greenhouse emissions America with great distances! I am all about using as much fuel as fast as possable before China really starts becoming the highest fuel comsumer in the world. So I drive a Holden Manaro GTV called a Pontiac GTO with a 400 HP 6.0 liter V-8 engine that can go over 145 miles an hour. Hear me choke and watch as trees turn brown.

It depends on how you take care of the Mondeo. Ford and VW are both reliable, but if you don't take care of them, they will fail you. The Mondeo is a car you should stick with. It looks better too.
