I respect everyone's view, everyone's religious view point as long as it's honest.

I have noticed several patterns within religion and I'd like your thoughts on my thoughts

1. Most if not all say: Pray to God and he will show you truth, Muslims, Christians, JW's, Mormons...all say to pray & then God will show you what I believe is true. These beliefs can't all be correct, they contradict each other.

2. The Beginning of Religions Start with a Man: Most start with a man who claims to have exclusive insights to God: Jesus, Muhamand, Joeph Smith, and the endless list.

3. Religions have one of two Beginnings: One they just start with a man saying he has a revelation froma higher power/God or the other way is for a man to say: Yes this religion is right but after time it's fallen away from the orignal "true" meaning and I've been sent to straighten it out...Joesph Smith as an example of that one.

My point being why would the creator continue to use the same approach to man?

In other words why wouldn't God/Higher Power do something than the same thing over & over again..Man-Revelation-Mankind.

There must be 1000's of different way God/Higher Power could contact man other than sending one that we must all believe is true.

It seems to reason that the odds to find the "true" religion would be 1 in 10 thousand.

can we be real.. Please don't say Pray and God will show you....PLEASE for once be real!

You want honest, from my veiwpoint ?? from what I believe to be true ?? OK, here goes..... Christianity, started NOT with a man saying believe this, it started with the creator Himself living as a spirit on Earth, creating , dark, light, seperating them, taking the dirt and water, and seperating them, and then looking around and seeing He wanted company, for lack of better words, so out of what was there, dirt, he created a man, and then woman, animals, etc...... not all is explained in the Bible, and I am realy NOT concerned about the hows and whens of all things, the creative past changes nothing, what is , is what is, knowing it will NOT promote a higher spiritual walk for me....... Chritians often say, Christianity began with Jesus, only the *word* did... We know Jesus as the manifestation of God in human flesh, there for I contend belief and worshiop and adoration, obeying, learning, etc., began with Adam...... Faith was NOT excluded in the Old Testement...... God/Jesus was before time, before the first man, etc......... Yes, I say , pray to God for the answer.. How can I deny that which as manifest in my life ?? I have seen things clear that were in mist, hidden behind my human desire, such as revenge...... and greed, pain, heartache, etc......... NO MAN has exclusive rights to God..... There were prophets, and teachers, etc., there was very little if any written word, so yes there were those who carried the Word in their hearts, to pass onto all ...... God uses what and who he must to fit the times passage... How would we know about other past lives, such as cave drawings ?? Some stories are carried down through oral passages, it makes them no less true...... American Native Indians, which runs through my blood, pass along stories from one generation to another, and people believe, there as been proof of some, and not of some... that makes it NO less real...... sorry, off track here...... The creator, God, inwhich I strongly believe, does not use it over and over, the approach of which you speak, He , like I said used prophets to spread his word, and now we have the Bible, we have teachers, preachers, missionaries, etc., but prophets are NO longer needed..... All this is ONLY my humble opinion....... I hope I shed some light, if not I do apologise and do hope you will recieve that which you seek............ God bless

That's an EXCELLENT question and a difficult one to answer. There are an abundance of facts which point to the existence of Jesus, the man; but it's much more difficult to prove that He was actually "the Christ," "the Messiah," or "the Son of God." I was introduced to church at a very early age (around 4, I think) and was very active... choir, etc. When I turned 14, I fell out of fellowship and was "lost" for about 13 years. I wasn't a BAD person mind you, but I wasn't living my life for God and receiving His full blessings. The turning point in my life came when everything in my life kinda "went to hell." I broke up with my live-in girlfriend of 4 years, my work was suffering, and I fell into depression. I had nowhere else to turn; so after 13 years, I turned back to the only One Who had never failed me... God. I fasted and prayed and cried and prayed, then there was just a "knowing..." an inexplicable assurance in my heart that I was ok and that I was going to Heaven when I left here. There was nothing tangible, just a peace and a comfort that I'd never felt before. But it wouldn't be THAT easy. The following Sunday, on my way to church, I was having an impossible time breathing. It felt like someone had their hand in my chest and was squeezing my heart. I had promised God that I would go for the first time in years, so I faced agonizing pain to make sure I didn't let Him down. I made it through the service (in excrutiating pain); but afterwards, I had to be taken to the hospital by my Aunt. The doctor informed me my right lung had completely collapsed and that I had to have surgery IMMEDIATELY! I had never had any type of illness before, so it was very humbling that God had removed all of my crutches to ensure that I was relying only on Him. Things aren't always perfect with me now, but I do the best that I can... still, I wouldn't change a thing! I pray for God's wisdom and strength to guide me in all things and help me to fulfill His perfect will and plan for my life; and I'm so excited about what He's done and is doing! So no, I can't point you to a substantial piece of evidence to persuade you of His existence. All I can say is, I know that without Him, I'd be dead right now. I CAN tell you that if you earnestly seek the Truth, IT will find YOU! GOD Bless!

Only Jesus died so ALL others may have eternal life. No other human named in all the other religions or persuasions would die for others. No other individuals were resurrected from the dead as a first fruits for the resurrection. Jesus IS the Way, the Truth and the Life NO ONE can come to the Father except by HIM. John 14

I don't question God and I don't ask "Why"...I believe in my heart and soul that my religion is right..and that does it for me plus all the other logical and scientific facts proved in it anyway god is far more wiser and knowledgeable then the weak human being why did he use the same approach I don't know but whatever he wills happens and I have no doubt at all in my faith and I'm VERY PROUD to be a Muslim!

good luck in your life

You get forgiven and receive the Holy Spirit when you believe in Christ - pretty conclusive evidence for the believer that it does come from God.

Then there is the walk of faith.

And there are ministries (rare admittedly at the current time, but many time more than 150 years ago) that do healing through faith in Christ, and supernatural gifts and anointings.

Islam is a religion for all people and for all times, it is the primordial religion since eternity. Allah subhana wa ta'ala (Almighty God...Glorious and High is He) promised to preserve his message through the Qur'an and this He has done so...all praises to Allah subhana wa ta'ala (Almighty God...Glorious and High is He):

"We have, without doubt, sent down the Message; and We will assuredly guard it (from corruption). [Quran 15:9]"

"Nay!, this is a Glorious Qur'an, (Inscribed) in a Tablet Preserved! " [Quran 85:21-22]

"In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Say: He is Allah, the One and Only!
Allah, the Eternal, Absolute;
He begetteth not nor is He begotten.
And there is none like unto Him."
[Quran: 112]

The Muslim prayer is the correct prayer before Allah subhana wa ta'ala (Almighty God...Glorious and High is He) because it is complete submission and surrender through prostration. Muslims have to purify themselves with wudu' (washing ritual) prior to prayer and through specific Arabic words to remove the presence of Satan and worldliness (insha'Allah....God willing if done properly). This prayer is a connection to our Creator like no other and brings immense benefits if practiced with sincerity, not just spiritual but also health benefits. Islamic prayer involves the heart, soul, mind and body. The heart becomes a channel for the grace of Allah subhana wa ta'ala (Almighty God...Glorious and High is He) insha'Allah. Islam is the path of the Heart.

THERE IS ONLY ONE TRUE RELIGION......... It's God Jesus Christ.

GOD WORKS IN ALL THE OTHERS to reach out.

Do you think God cares what religion you are.... no, the key is to do with what's in your heart.

There's many religions for many reasons, some was greed, and false profits. But as long as your heart believes in God, he is there.
I don't care what religion a church is, I go to them all, I don't go for the religion, I go for God.
