with more questions unanswered than were answered after 9/11, with the cia saying our foreign policy the last 50 years in the middle east being the reasoning for islamic terrorists, with rumors of election fraud, with pat tillman being murdered(ordered?), with blackwater operating in iraq UNDER NO JURISDICTION, bush's unconstitutional "executive privilege"(nowhere in the constitution does it give president power to ignore congressional oversight), also with all of the new dictatorial powers given to the president "in the event of a catastrophic economic, terrorist, natural disaster event", with the media lying about EVERYTHING. at what point do we start fighting back. this country is not the same country i was born in. only 2 islamic terror attacks in american history, both of which we had prior knowledge, I love my country. but i am so sick of this damned government. this government we operate under today is no different than how the nazi party took over in germany before WWII.

i understand elections. but have you not heard of the diebold election machines that are built in VENEZEULA. and Bush is not the problem. he is just a sympton. lobbyists spend 6 million dollars every day in washington to influence legislation. THIS IS ILLEGAL!!! as far as our army goes. they have wanted to suspend the consititution since the Rex84 program when oliver north was involved. the army is definately not the american people's friend. 20% of our army are mexicans. did you know this?

as far as ron paul goes. i love him. i have sent him $100, twice. i have never sent money to a politician. but ron paul is not a politician. he is a representative of the people. i just don't believe the elections will be fair. just look at how the media censors ron paul. no way he gets elected, although i do everything i can to inform everyone i know about him and how bad of a situation we are in now as a country.

All we can do is vote for the person we feel is an improvement over the one before, and we can insist that there be a paper trail, one that will allow the voter to know his or her vote has been recorded correctly, and one that can be used for a recount, if necessary.
Write your Congressman. Send him or her an e-mail every day. Let them know your concerns. They will listen, if they want to be reelected. Use the Internet to find out how your representative is voting in Congress. Don't vote for anyone you feel may be dishonest.
So far, we have not seen the crowds of protesters we had during the Viet Nam conflict. This is because our young people have not yet been directly affected by this war. But, if our disastrous foreign policy continues, we will undoubtedly be involved in other wars, and a draft may be instigated. Then our youth may finally become involved in the future of this country.
I share your feelings about Pat Tillman. What a pity when the military has to lie about a soldier's death, just to make political points and to cover up the truth. Why the ax didn't fall on these officers is more than I know. As it is, they got a slap on the wrist.
We're in a mess and the way out won't be easy, but there will be a way out. Our Constitution will survive! One man and a corrupt gang of political cutthroats cannot make a permanent dent in the ideals that America was founded upon and thrived with. We cannot allow it to continue, and let's hope we have learned to never allow it to happen again.

I still have faith somewhere that justice will be served somewhere. there will be a ripple effect. When things start effecting the other countries pocket books, it may come from them. And I do think we as Americans are up the creek without a paddle. I also think there will be a depression and many homeless...and a very big crash on wall street...I mean how hard is it to put 2 and 2 together. As for the Bushes and the Republicans being like some sort of nazis, I would say, not, but being alcoholics with power and control issues and mini dictatorlike wishes....well, they fall short of being Hitler's, maybe will fall down drunk with denialism as we enable their lies and pass out from dissillusionment that all is not well? We still have to wait and do a few ecological peace music fests....which may have a voice, but marching inthe streets just gets the victim blamed....the higher power will set it right...behaviors have consequences like a new China territory, or Russian. We dont have much choice after being bummbled by the bumblers. Just keep writing and informing. You gave new info here. Write with a fight, for we have the freedom of speech, right? Not?
Funny thing about this, I think this has gone on in America for a long time, that we do not have a say, and now it is opening up, and will we have a say? Keep connected with the truth in various discussion sites. talk amongst yourself in your town, suscede from the union....join impeachment groups. One foot in front of the other does wonders. Many hands can paddle a stream and do a number on heading away from the Bush ex stream. Build a new democracy where you are. Fight destruction of wars by not participating in wars but by helping others and building, not destroying....come together...

Our Congress and Senate back the president on these issues because they do not want to feel responsible for another attack on our soil. The media is under the same pressure. Daschel and Leah were against the patriot act and they were the ones who received the anthrax made in a U.S. lab. I don't believe we have any idea of what is going on inside our government.
Until we notify our representatives in very large numbers that we will not stand for the loss of our rights under these conditions, they will stick by Bush and grant his every wish if it relates to "protecting" us. There must be intelligent oversight into the surveillance of American citizens. Warrants must be acquired even if its after the fact so there will be a trail of what these people are doing. Some of the secrecy must be challenged. And Gonzalez must be outed.

America can't last much longer... we are withering away just as Rome did, Just as Greece did... We have got 50 years tops I would say, probably more like 20. America isn't what it was, the people can remember the land of the free though and want it badly. Just stock up on weapons, ammo, water, food etc. Learn skills like making alcohol and thread. Learn to do all that man has learned to do to survive in the past 2,000 years. Then, when society collapses for one reason or another, you are ready.
To these guys who say we aren't even similar, look at our laws. Half of our gun control laws are almost word for word of gun control used by Nazi Germany, The Patriot Act is so similar to how Hitler came to power... anyone who says there is no comparison is not looking deep enough. Instead of signing the Star Spangled Banner get used to singing Hail Fuhrer Bush!

With the build up of Muslim groups in the US and the government continuing to let it happen, don't be surprised if vigilante groups don't start forming ! Large pockets of Muslims have concentrated their habitat in Michigan, Minnesota, Utah, and other locations throughout the US. No good can come from this !
You can best serve your country by pointing your finger in the right direction. You seem to direct all the problems at the government and the laws, and not at the evil doers all around us. Illegal immigration, Islamic extremists, and other domestic issues continue to be ignored and go unchallenged. This cannot continue, before we have serious domestic issues and perhaps, civil war or words to that effect.
So, quit your bad mouthing the government, because you sound like someone on the other side of the patriotic equation.

I'm not worried right now, since Bush is in office and IS proecting us from another terrorist attack. If a democrate gets in though in 2008, i'll be scared!
The govrment can't tell us everything because than our enemies would find out. It's called common sense.
If the democrates get control, soon we will be like the Nazi's though, already the Christian's are being singled out as evil. Hello ppl! OUr country was founded by Christians! We should be allowed to pray to the one true God in the schools and in public. We should be allowed to have a Bible anywhere and the Ten Commandments posted in public places. Too convicting? THan move. Because that's what we were founded on. if we keep rejecting God though, we will end up like the Nazis.

If you don't know how to fight, then sit down and spend time shining your tin foil hat! And, what you know about Nazis can fit inside an Army helmet with enough room left over for two quarts of beer. You don't love your country half as much as you hate President Bush. I am so damned sick of no-nothings in the tin foil hat brigade who besmirch the memory of two people I knew that were on the plane which hit the Pentagon. Did you not think, you piece of human vermin, that the world of cyberspace might contain folks who were personally affected by the atack on America? Go away! You make me ill!

Keep posting online. Start or join a Political message board. Meet these people in coffee houses. Organize protests. The totalitarian government of the U.S.S.R. fell in non-violent populist protest in 1991, so change is possible.
What is difficult in the United States is that our elected "representatives" are more beholden to the wealthy class and Corporate interests that funded their campaigns than they are to their constituents that voted them in office. My representative Nancy Pelosi is a perfect example. No matter how many times I call or e-mail her asking her to support a timetable for withdrawl and to stop funding the U.S. military occupation-she ignored me and others and caved in. Overturning Posse Comitatus (October, 2006), expanding warrantless spying (July, 2007) and invading Iraq-none of these would have been possible without Democratic party votes. "Impeachment off the table." How dare she...it's in the Constitution!

I wish I knew. Writing our representatives, while a start, sure seems less-than-effective, doesn't it? I suppose there's the "impeach Bush" movement, but since he has little over a year left, I doubt Congress will want to go through the time and effort to do what term limitations will take care of anyway. And yet every DAY, much less week or month, people are needlessly dying and our own set of governmental balances are being further rent... and it's by a faceless "administration" rather than by anyone we can or should take up arms against.
No good answer. But thanks for asking the question.

Ask yourself this, what is a Democrat President going to do with all this unconstitutional "executive privilege" once they are in power?
As for the rest of your rantings, your head must be a very scary place.
