I went to U-Haul and they had ordered one that would not work. Does anyone have one on their 07 GTI?

What are you towing bicycles? the 2007 GTI would not be my first choice for a hitch. Try "Valley Tow Right"..And check Europiean Places they hook 10 foot trailers to almost anything called caravans. When I need to take race tires to the track I drop then off and lock them with a jack the day before. And during the following week drive the company truck down to get them... I avoid towing trailers like the plague. In Texas car with trailer is limited to 65 day and 55 night. Speed limits out side major towns are 75 miles an hour and 80 in west Texas where the only thing out there are tumbleweeds roadrunners and coyote's
